Online collection of indexes with many full-text articles.
Coverage: 1970 - current
An international indexing, and abstracting collection of databases relevant to the topics of business, accounting, finance, economics, management and industrial relations.
ProQuest indexes 7,000 journals, newspapers and some trade publications, from which some 3,500 provide full-text articles. Useful features include the ability to limit a search to peer-reviewed (academic) journals only and the facility to email citations and journal article from the database.

Coverage:
full text for 8,370 periodicals and other sources, including monographs, country economic reports, industry reports and yearbooks and market research reports. Indexing and abstracts for 350 important scholarly journals back to 1965 or the first published issue. It also includes searchable cited references for more than 1,160 journals.

Contains important facts, figures and key events for international public and private companies, industries, products, and markets for manufacturing and service industries. Covers all the primary business information sources--from leading trade magazines, newsletters, and the general business press to international business dailies.
British Humanities Index *(CSA)
Online indexing database with links to the library catalogue.
Major areas of coverage include: economics, environment, current affairs, foreign affairs, political science, etc. Dates of coverage: 1962 - current. Updated monthly. Indexes over 320 internationally respected humanities journals and weekly magazines published in the UK and other English speaking countries, as well as quality newspapers published in the UK. An online thesaurus is available. May be searched simultaneously with other CSA databases.
Expanded Academic ASAP *
Online indexing database with links to the library catalogue.
Expanded Academic provides full-text or full-image coverage of around 900 journals in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. It indexes and abstracts over 1900 scholarly and general interest journals. Coverage: 1980 onwards.

Search by keyword
To search by keyword use a company name or any other distinctive words that describe the information you are looking for. e.g. general electric and strategy
Search by subject
This search uses "Library of Congress Subject Headings" for choice of subject.
These are very specific (e.g. 'Corporations -United States' is used for 'American Companies'). It is often useful to do a keyword search first, then to check the subject headings in the records retrieved, to see what terminology is used as subject headings in the catalogue. Often a geographical place or region is given.
