  • Statistical Materials for Learning About Japan - Official statistics. This English-language guide to statistical information about Japan was compiled by the National Diet Library. It introduces major statistical materials on Japan written in English, or in both Japanese and English, in the form of printed publications and Internet information.

    Data archives

  • Australian Social Science Data Archive (ASSDA)- The Archive, based at ANU in Canberra, collects and preserves computer-readable data relating to social, political and economic affairs and makes the data available for further analysis. Data holdings are listed on the ASSDA homepage.http://assda.anu.edu.au/catalogue.html Data can be ordered using the Data Order Form.

  • Bureau of Economic Analysis - Includes regional, national, international and industry data.
  • EconData - Includes several hundred thousand economic time series, produced by a number of U.S. Government agencies. Series include various national accounts, labour information, price indices, current business indicators and industrial production, information over state and regions, and international data. It is necessary to download PDG software to use the data.
