  • Annual Report Gallery - Complete listing of Annual Reports published on the Internet.
  • Competitive Intellegence Information - Fuld & Company have compiled the Internet Intelligence Index. It contains links to over 600 intelligence-related Internet sites, covering everything from macro-economic data to individual patent and stock quote information. The site also has a hyperlinked Competitive Intelligence Dictionary .
  • Corporate Information - Provides links to public and private company information in more than 100 countries and search facility for over 225,000 company profiles worldwide.
  • Fortune Global 500 - The world's largest corporations with company snapshots available.
  • Hoover's Company Capsules- Information on more than 10,000 of the largest public and private companies in the US and around the world. Search by company name, tickers symbol or keyword.
  • Internet and Company Research - Useful site compiled by U.S Law Librarian Gloria Miccioli, reviewing and comparing resources provided by a range of free and fee-based sites providing company profiles, IPOs, public record information, global company data and SEC filings. Also meta-sites that serve as gateways to public, private and international company data.
  • Standard & Poor's Ratings
  • World Stock Exchanges - Links to world Stock Exchanges.
  • Wright Research Center - Detailed analysis of over 18,000 companies worldwide including earnings & dividends, price analysis, etc. Alphabetical as well as country listing.

  • MBendi AfroPaedia - Africa's electronic encyclopaedia of business and commercial information.

Australia

  • AUSTLI (Australasian Legal Information Institute) - for case law relating to Australian Companies.
  • AUSTRADE online- The Australian Trade Commission Online.
  • Australian Financial Services Directory - Australian financial resources including stock market and charting services.
  • Australian Investor: The Investment Information Service - A-Z listing of publicly listed companies and a "static" chart of share price movements. Technical charts and historical share prices go back 10 years, but note that these are static charts. Compare a company with up to three competitors. Registration is required.
  • Australian Securities Commission
  • Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) - lists both current and delisted companies and name changes. Shares and closing prices are available, as are recent company announcements, which can be downloaded in full-text PDF (from July 1, 2003), floats (forthcoming as well as recent), with links to PDFs of prospectuses. The ASX Fact File is produced annually. It contains market statistics, including market capitalization, turnover, indices, top 50 domestic equity securities by market capitalization, and overseas companies listed on the ASX. Annual reports for listed companies.
  • Australian Stock Market Indexes (Restricted access) ABS Australian Economic Indicators (Published montly by the Australian Bureau of Statistics) - online version. Click on the month, and then download a PDF file to view statistics for that month. Use the table of contents for the section on "Financial Markets" and then the subsection on "Australian Stock Market Indexes". This table contains performance history for the all ordinaries, all industrials and all resources indices.
  • Bourse Investor - Historical share prices back to early 1990s.Also summaries of current floats and a free e-newsletter to alert you when floats are imminent, as well as a 2-month archive. Free registration is required.
  • BRW - Various lists published by BRW.
  • Delisted.com - covers companies that are delisted, suspended, in administration, in receivership, and in liquidation. Details include date of delisting, reason for delisting, name change, date of name change, and some news on progress for some companies after Dec. 31, 1989. Only covers companies previously listed on ASX.
  • Equities Info - links to annual reports for over 1,000 companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Search is by company name or industry sector.
  • History of the Australian Stock Exchange Includes share investment performance, Australian market overview and share ownership in Australia.
  • IISIA Australian Listed Companies - Links to about 500 companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange as well as other financial news.
  • Reflections - a comprehensive collection of links to mining and exploration company profiles can be found at Reflections (a webpage design business). The site advertises web design services but also maintains active links for the mining and exploration industry.
  • WebLink Investor Centre
  • Yahoo! Finance Australia - historical share prices and dividends back to the mid-1980s. Data can be manipulated.

  • Canadian Trade Index - An industrial directory for sourcing products and services from Canadian manufacturers. Search by product description (keyword) or company name.
  • Carlson Online - Canadian public company information.
  • Company Annual Reports On Line - USA
  • Forbes Magazine - various lists
  • Fortune 500 - America's 500 largest corporations with company snapshots available.
  • Hoover's Company Capsules- Information on more than 10,000 of the largest public and private companies in the US and around the world. Search by company name, tickers symbol or keyword.
  • Inc. Magazine and the Inc. 500 - fastest-growing private US companies
  • LLRX Business Filings Databases - All 50 states make some level of corporate and business filings available online. In a few instances only limited information (such as name availability) is retrievable. The majority of the states, however, use their Web presence to disseminate a range of public business records -- and most of them offer access at no charge.
  • MacRae's Blue Book - An industrial directory for sourcing products and services from American manufacturers. Covers 120,000 industrial companies and over 500,000 industrial product listings. Search by product description (keyword) or company name.
  • U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission - includes: EDGAR: All companies, foreign and domestic, are required to file registration statements, periodic reports, and other forms electronically through EDGAR. Anyone can access and download this information for free. Here you'll find links to a complete list of filings available through EDGAR and instructions for searching the EDGAR database.
