  • Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) - the regulator of the Australian financial services industry.
    Covers: banks, insurance companies, superannuation funds, credit unions, building societies, and friendly societies. The main source of banking statistics collated by APRA is available in the quarterly publication, APRA Insight.
  • Eye-on banking - Includes a complete list of banks on the web. Browse a region or look up alphabetically.
  • Federal Reserve Banks- Links to Federal Reserve Banks as well as economic data and education sites.
  • Mark Bernkopf's Central Banking Resource Center - provides links to central banks, ministries of finance, multilateral financial institutions, monetary research institutes, financial news, etc.
  • Yahoo's Bank Directory - Links to over 1000 banks worldwide.

  • Business Database. Practical Guides. Finance.
  • Economic and Financial Data for Indonesia
  • Finance Site List - Up-to-date and comprehensive list with links to finance journals, financial institutions, derivatives, asset pricing & investments, research data and software, etc.
  • Financial Data and Resource Locators - Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). This site provides a huge selection of links to material on international finance, banking, stocks exchanges. International in focus yet an excellent gateway to Asian financial contents.
  • FINWeb - The objective of FINWeb is to list Internet resources providing substantive information concerning economics and finance-related topics.
  • OSU Virtual Finance Library - Includes links to market news, exchanges, current quotes, etc.
  • Securitization.net - Financial securitization information, resources and tools for the structured finance industry. Knowledge Bank covers rating agencies, transactions and accounting.
  • Wachowicz's Web World - financial management web sites grouped to correspond with the major topic headings in Fundamentals of Financial Management (with Prentice Hall Finance Center CD-ROM), 11th ed., Prentice-Hall (2001) by James Van Horne and John Wachowicz.

  • Currency Converter - FXConverter (Foreign Exchange Currency Converter) is a multi-lingual Currency Converter with up to date exchange rates provided from leading market data contributors and is filtered for validity. Historical values are also available
  • Current Value of Old Money - Annotated links to websites containing a variety of resources such as data tables, research papers and calculators. Created by Roy Davies, librarian at University of Exeter.
  • Pacific Exchange Rate Service - This service provides access to current and historic daily exchange rates through an on-line database retrieval and plotting system. Also provided is a list of all the currencies of the world with information on each country's exchange rate regime and ISO-4217 currency code. Analyses and trend projections of the Canadian Dollar, the U.S. Dollar, and the Euro are available as well.
  • Universal Currency Converter - Allows you to perform interactive foreign exchange rate calculations using live, up-to-the-minute currency rates.

  • Asian & International Stock Exchange and Stock Market Information
  • Australian Stock Exchange - includes share prices.
  • BigCharts - (U.S.A.) Using Historical Quotes, enter date and stock symbol and get the closing price for that day. Available from 1985-.
  • Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP) - Collection of standard and derived security data available for the NYSE, AMEX and Nasdaq Stock Market.
  • DividendDiscountModel.com - Access to the Dividend Discount Model (DDM) used to value publicly traded stocks. DDM calculates the present value of the future dividends that a company is expected to pay its shareholders. DDM can also calculate the expected return implied by the current dividend yield and projected dividend growth.
  • FinancialWeb - (U.S.A.) 10-12 years of data is available for most NYSE, Amex and Nasdaq listed stocks.
  • Investopedia (U.S.A.) - Investopedia includes a searchable and browseable database of finance and investment terms with a definition, additional information and related links for each. The "Investopedia University" section of the site includes tutorials and articles on different aspects of finance and investment.
  • InvestorWeb - (Australia) Independent Investor Guide.
  • InvestorWords - a glossary of financial terms, containing over 5000 words.

  • TheLion (U.S.A.) - a search engine for current financial news and stock information.
  • World Stock Exchanges (Australian Financial Services Directory) - Links to world Stock Exchanges.
